I’m happy
because I just had my AP test yesterday, and so I no longer need to be going
over notecards. Now, the only class I have left to finish is Math (I go to
online school, and I worked ahead in all subjects but math) which I’ll probably
finish in June sometime.
Anyway,
todays post isn’t a lot of words, just links that I’ve been loving.
Everyone's probably already seen this spoof trailer of Sofia Coppola's the Little Mermaid, but I just can't get over it. Especially the song (which is a cover of Part of Your World) that plays at the end - it has literally been on repeat on my iPod for the past week.
Eurovision also got me excited, and while like everyone else on the planet I enjoyed Austria, my favorite group had to be the Netherlands. Their performance was relaxing after all of the other overwhelming performances with bright flashing lights, and their harmonizing was perfect.
You've also probably already read/heard about this girl who got kicked out of prom because of her dress, but I'll link it here anyway cause I thought the piece was well written and honest.
I have also really been into Ear Biscuits, a podcast with about 30 episodes. Each episode they interview a YouTuber, and you really get to know their back-story (in a more detailed and in depth manner than their draw my life). I don't listen to all of them because they are with YouTubers I'm not really interested in, but the ones I do listen to are really interesting.
That's all I have for now, I'll try to post some drawings and collages later this week.
